hot take: the best anime OP of all time is Tank! from Cowboy Bebop and it is not even close. that jazz fusion intro sets the entire tone before a single frame of animation. but if we are talking EDs, Ride on Shooting Star from FLCL hits different. the Pillows understood the assignment perfectly. what are your top OPs/EDs?
