Celeste is a game about climbing a mountain but really it's about climbing out of depression and anxiety. The way the gameplay mirrors the emotional journey — failing over and over but always getting back up — is so intentional. Chapter 6 had me ugly crying and I'm not ashamed. Also Madeline's dash feels SO clean. Tight controls are an act of love.
